As we said, page title is a phrase that appears in Google results, not inside your page; While the H1 tag is quite the opposite and is only visible inside the page and usually at the top of the page or article. Although this is a good reason and you can use this solution in your projects; But it is better to be a little creative and change H1 a bit. This way you can use new and different keywords in the most important heading of your page. On the other hand, when the user selects your title from the Google results and enters your page, it means that he likes your original ad and headline, and now you have the opportunity to fascinate him more than before with a new and slightly different phrase. Or write your own article. So the title and H1 tags do not always have to be exactly the same. Of course, you must use the original keyword in both of them.

Some Important Warnings About Writing SEO Title

Character Limits: First we will talk about the maximum number of characters in the title tag. One of the indicators that makes writing SEO title for websites more interesting and of course more difficult is the number of letters that you have to observe. If you plan to write headlines for the press or write advertising headlines, you do not face such a limitation and you can write the title as long as you want. But each search engine only displays a limited number of site title letters. About Google search engine, this value is equivalent to 600 pixels, which is about 55 to 60 characters.

Since the font size varies, Google’s main measure is to measure the length of the title tag in pixels. Of course, there is a limit to the number of letters; But the priority is with pixels. This means that if the length of your SEO title reaches 600 pixels, it does not matter how many characters you have used, the results page at the end of the title will show three dots, which is not very interesting in terms of user experience (UX). 1. But our main keyword here is “SEO”. So we substitute similar words and search for the terms “comprehensive site optimization training” or “comprehensive SEO training”. And we see that the results are almost similar to previous searches and only the ranking of sites has changed a little, which of course has an effect on increasing their click-through rate. But the interesting thing is that almost half of the sites that are on the first page of results, did not use the terms site optimization and SEO. So we conclude that Google recognizes synonymous words.

As you can see, in addition to giving the main keyword in the first half of the title, we made it more attractive by using words like Update 99 and 15 hours of tutorial video, and actually made a longer keyword.

2. Features and Distinctions: Once you’ve seen the keywords you want on the first page of Google results and among the best, it’s time to ask yourself this important question: Why should users click on my site title? Remember that whenever there are many options offered, the customer tries to choose the best and most useful option. So if you are looking to increase your CTR, you should try to differentiate yourself from other competitors in the title tag or SEO title that you write. Express any feature that you feel sets you apart from your competitors and do not be afraid. 1. Your SEO title is too short. Use a longer title.

We see this error when the title tag is short, and this is one of the biggest errors. Because if we write up to about 53 characters, we will still see this message. 2. The SEO title is more than visible. Try to be shorter.

3. Not all words in the “…… ..” keyword are SEO titles. For a better SEO result, write the keyword exactly at the beginning of the SEO title.

This error is related to the condition that we do not write the main keyword or, as Yovas puts it, the focal keyword in the SEO title. Of course, instead of the three dots I wrote, it just shows you the keyword you want. Unlike the previous 2 errors, this error is significant and you should try to optimize the SEO title. Obviously, this issue cannot be analyzed if you have not set a focal keyword.

4. No exact match found. Try to use the keyword in the SEO title and at the beginning.

If your focal keyword is long (3 words or more) and you did not spell some words exactly in the SEO title, you will see this error. For example, if I set the focal keyword “title tag in SEO” and do not use one of these words in the title, or use them separately (discontinuously) in the title, I will get this error. But if the focal keyword we used is 2 words and we do not use one of the words in the SEO title, we will see a high error.

5. Focus keyword matching appears exactly in the SEO title, but not at the beginning. For best results, move it to the beginning of the SEO title.

Now if we write the focal keyword exactly in the title tag, but it is not in the first half of the title, we will get this error. To solve this problem, we must use the main keyword in the first half of the SEO title.
